Here's a profile BD 1.1 prediction for you. There will be no BD 1.1 compliant standalone players shipping in 2007. All new players being launched this year are launching before the November 1st deadline so that they do not have to be compliant.

Hope you don't take any bets on your prediction. Do you seriously think all the new players have been announced?
