Was denkt ihr, ist der zu vergleichen mit einem Rotel 1098? Weil ich hätte da ein gutes Angebot für den Rotel... ???

Ich weiss, eine schwierige Frage, zumal ihn sicher noch niemand gehört hat...

SS, thanks. I was going nuts trying to get a translation on my blackberry to no avail. Here's the translation from Google.

During the golden age of high fidelity on horseback 80s, Pioneer was one of the builders of the most interesting world, especially appreciated for the high quality and refinement of audio amplifiers. In recent years, a door accomplice in the technology market video playback, Pioneer had seemed slightly in the second floor audio although in reality the search had not ever stop, but it was even enlarged the field of acoustic speakers .

In the last year the Japanese manufacturer has given a clear accelerated development of the catalogue mid-range and high more purely audio. Pioneer is currently preparing a return great pomp in High-End which will be completed through the speakers and amplifiers TAD brand, which had already admired the last edition of the ESC and that will be presented to Italian market are likely by next summer.

A first taste of collected Pioneer is the new integrated multi-LX90 SC, presented last October at the CEATEC and as expected availability in Italy by the summer. The new top range has been renamed "Susano" provides 10 channels of 140W amplified by each, is equipped with 6 inputs HDMI 1.3a, two HDMI outputs (all type 1.3a), and is able to decode even the most Recent systems multichannel high-quality Dolby TrueHD and DTS HD Master Audio.

The amp is basically a two frames in a "with sections amplification, and pre completely separate. In this area there is a separate pre both for the management of analog signal, both for digital circuits. The amplification modules are class "D" high efficiency (Ice Power, a product developed by Bang & Olufsen) with versatility nothing short of excellent, especially on how to use various channels amplified: there is also the possibility of food systems to 5.2 channels bi-amplification with two 140W channels for each of the two paths of speaker.

Pending the availability of new top range, Pioneer Italy sent us a pre-production test for a small preview that has been possible thanks to my friend and colleague, Nicola D'Agostino and indirectly has put at a receive the product in trial and that in the absence of a manual in a language understandable (for the moment is only available in Japanese), we have provided information of extraordinary accuracy and usefulness to deepen the constructive and functional aspects.

The versatility of Pioneer Susano is simply extraordinary, with a number of inputs and outputs, analog and digital audio, video and data that will be very difficult to use completely. Compared with other products of similar category missing link WiFi is available but is a LAN 10/100 that a USB port. Places of the presence of DSP video more interesting time (Marvell Qdeo), presegestione other two secondary zones (zone 2 and zone 3) of which one with S / PDIF or amplified pre 7.1 input channels, output pre 10.2 channels (Central and double double woofer), 4 well trigger a 12V and a RS232 port.

The "small" has come to the office within a parallelepiped solid rigid cardboard and white. Inside the box there is only just enough space to accommodate the power cord, the microphone to manage the system self Advanced MCACC and the complex IR remote control type "intelligent". No trace of the manual.

Once placed on the table, Susano appears even greater how I had imagined, mainly because of considerable height, equivalent to almost 25 centimetres. The finish earlier in black lacquered is very elegant although it is a powerful detector of fingerprints and dust.

The LCD display in a central position is clear and very useful but with a few glitches

The front is dominated by LCD display from 5 "which allows a smooth government of all the amplifier integrated functions, as well as the vision of media content through removable memory. The only known tune is represented by some typical artifacts the connection composite video and overall quality of the panel used. Although it is not key issues, we hope that the final model there is something better.

The rear panel helps us to highlight even more in the subdivision plans and areas of the interior of the product. On the lower floor are 10 connectors for the amplified signal while higher, from left to right, are hosted digital interfaces (TOSlink, S / PDIF and LAN). Taking multipolar for Apple iPod prelude to the preamp outputs to 10.2 channels (including Central and double double sub) and the pre inputs to 7.1 channels. More are on the right analog inputs and outputs and in the left HDMI connectors and iLink.

On the front panel, protected by a folding door, there is an additional audio input (composite / S-video with audio also type TOSlink), the only USB port for removable memory media, a useful headphone output and taking minijack microphone system Advanced MCACC. Through buttons available you can easily control the entire system, even without remote control.

The connectors for power cables I did not screw up in size and strength. They accept even forks and skinned cable with a thickness of 10 mm and are arranged in such a way as to avoid having penare with polpastrelli to tighten the socket adequately.

Looking closely at the first image without the rear panel, with the help of exploded and drawings that gave us the manufacturer and with a good mind connections on the back panel, it is very easy to appreciate the provision of internal components which are housed in rooms completely separate audio circuits and digital video, audio analog circuits, analog video circuits, power separate analog and digital section and section final occupies the "ground floor".

Removing the top panel is simple and immediate but we have limited this: some of the screws essential for dismantling am with the step inches and some were unambiguous signs left by those who tried to remove with brugole nostrane. If we add to this the promise made to Pioneer not damage the product, understand why we avoided unnecessary spills ... Screws.

From left: HDMI card, the main processor, with the final section modules ICE Power

The images that we have to take, combined with those that are available on the website of the Japanese manufacturer, underline a construction characterized by quality, strength and order. In particular, remains enchanted front of the amplifier section with 10 modules ICE Power, credited to a total capacity of 1400 on 8 ohms and occupying one-tenth the space for a more traditional equal power.

Regarding key components, Pioneer chose the best available on the market for both the processing and conversion audio but also for video, starting with the prestigious DSP technology with Marvell Qdeo that keeps all promises, and that is already used profitably in the player hybrid LG BH200.

Block diagram of the new DSP video Marvell 88DE2710 technology Qdeo

Amongst the most exclusive, we recall the possibility of two parallel processing, resolution and frame rate different. The video feeds 1920x1080p in high definition can be delivered with a depth of 10-bit color without compression (4:4:4) or up to 12 bits per color component, with compression component 4:2:2.

DAC Wolfson WM8741 with relative block diagram

The other precious novelty is used in the conversion from digital audio analog. For this delicate operation has been used in the new converter Wolfson WM8741: a stereo converter credited an SN ratio that was about 125 dB (stereo configuration, freq. KHz 48), full compatibility for the DSD stream of Super Audio CD and control volume virtually analog, in steps of 0125 dB.

Without the user's guide and help only through the excellent menu OSD language English, I was able to make all necessary configuration in a very short time. The complete integrated LCD display is very useful in setting options are very broad and not limited to automated equipment but allow the correct answer is that breadth also being manually.

Some images menu setup produced by the integrated LCD display

Although the LCD and the menu structure is very effective, the lack of user manual is felt with the conviction that he even explored the possibility of 20% of the product. Among the analyses that try to lead when we have the final product, that there is verification of the compatibility of video files into high-definition compatible with the system.

Some of the configurations of systems reproduction possible

Here I entered the top three of the most likely configurations to exploit the largest possible number of channels. In particular, the configuration classic 5 more sub amplified channels, which uses a pair of two-channel amplifier for each speaker, is the easiest to implement. More interesting to see the possibility of using the three front channels in two-and four-channel sound surround driven individually. Equally useful to have the same quality audio for zone 2.

3 of 3

Faced with such exclusive features, with the short time available and in the absence of a manual in Western language, I was "equipped" with no little discomfort, especially due to a lack of a useful number of speakers acoustic adjusted as needed. Before everything I provide an easy listening in stereo, using as a source glorious player Pioneer DV-717 connecting both analog and digital (TOSlink) and the first combining a pair CDM7 B & W and then two Klipsch RF35. For your reference I have used both an integrated Denon AVC-A11XV that valvular Yarland M34.

Through B & W CDM7, without any preparation, I had no particular surprises. I appreciated power available which is far greater than the need for a diffuser with the sensitivity of the CDM, while the frequency extension and control Banda on the extreme aspects are really appreciable. Some limit is detectable only on the depth and width of the extension scene sound, especially compared to Denon AVC-A11XV. Anyway it is areas needing further study with a greater number of hours available.

What follows connection with the two towers Klipsch is really exciting, especially for the large amount of decibels produced without appreciable distortion and a dynamic-VA-DE-TE STAN! In the Klipsch stereo proved to be very useful to emphasize the limits on the three-dimensional reconstruction of the scenic but also revealed a slight "bitterness" of the medium-high that was definitely diminished after a slight Equalization reported that the reason most of the spectrum sound.

For listening, I used a multi-player Sony BDP-S300 PCM via HDMI and Samsung BDM-P1400, the latter to deliver new HD audio stream directly through the HDMI connection. The disk test Dolby "The Sound of High Definition" has allowed us to test the configuration to 7.1 channels, with the track "Clouds" in a splendid Dolby TrueHD 24/96 played through a fairly diverse mix of Klipsch speakers. The same front speakers were fed in Bi-Amping configuration in order to fully exploit the 10 amplifiers icepower, although I have not found appreciable differences compared to more traditional configuration.

The list price has not yet been defined but should be about 7,000 euros including VAT, the comparison of the price of Japanese Yen 880,000 including taxes, it seems somewhat 'high, although fully aligned to the quality of construction, performance and performance 's outstanding operational possibilities. If you look at alternatives with similar characteristics, the price becomes even competitive.

By comparison, the POA-coupled Denon A1HD and POA-A1HD mentioned in a total weight of 87.5 kg, a total volume exceeding 110 litres and absorption of almost 1,500 watts. By comparison the Susano offers power and versatility not far less than half the price and volume, a third of the weight and especially close to a third of absorption power (550W Pioneer against 1450W Denon).

At this point there is that the wait for next June to conduct a more thorough test on a final model. A test that is proclaimed as complex and interesting, with the hope that by then a manual is available in a language more understandable.

http://www.pricejapan.com/front/e_good_info.php?code=537&category=17

Habe leider keine Erfahrung beim Import.

navigieren. Für USB-Schnittstellen unterstützt dieser
Verstärker Massenspeicherklassen-Geräte.
